Laurie Bennett is a brand new Snark, having recently played Rita in Players' Guide and house managed and worked on props and wardrobe as a prospective. She also sings in two choruses (Park Slope Singers and Peace of Heart Choir), has played Jane Jacobs and a naked Woman-as-Hare for the Peculiar Works Project, worked In Playback Theatre and Theater for the People, and dabbled in improv and storytelling and poetry over the past ten years in NYC.

 

Before that, she was a corporate telecommunications attorney, a Colorado ACLU board member, and then, after getting an education PhD, a DU faculty member in Denver Colorado, where she raised two amazing kids and declined to ski.
